The 21-kilometer Line 3 will run from north to south, linking the districts separated by Chongqing's two main rivers, the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers. It will later be extended to the city's international airport.
NICE has already deployed the system on six lines of the Beijing Metro, and last month signed a follow-on deal to deploy the system on a seventh line.
NICE Asia-Pacific Region president Doron Ben-Sira said, "We are pleased to be selected once more for protecting China's mass transit metro system. This is another milestone project, which reflects once more our growing presence in Asia's security market as well as the unique value add of NICE's solutions for enhancing the safety and security of transportation networks all over the world."
NICE closed at $27.65 on Nasdaq yesterday. The share fell 1.3 percent by mid-afternoon on the TASE today to NIS 107.60.
