The Hain Celestial Group Inc. acquired Boulder-based Infinitea Kombucha for an undisclosed sum, officials for the companies confirmed. Infinitea Kombucha produced organic fermented tea that was sold in natural foods stores. As a result of the acquisition, Infinitea Kombucha will no longer be produced. The product, instead, will be launched as Celestial Seasonings kombucha during the spring of 2010, Celestial Seasonings officials said in an e-mailed statement to the Camera. Nicole Gervace, the owner of Infinitea Kombucha, joined Celestial Seasonings as product manager for the company's kombucha line, officials said.
