Honoring Veterans Day, the show is dedicated to helping Vets and employers connect. Dr. Patton will address:

About Dr. Vince Patton, Director Community Outreach, Military Advantage

Dr. Vince Patton is Director of Community Outreach for Military Advantage, a division of Monster Worldwide and the nation's largest military membership organization. In this role he is responsible for executing the company's outreach marketing program, managing the Military.com career fair events and DoD projects, oversees the ambassadors' program and maintaining a close liaison with contacts at all levels in the military and veteran communities. Vince served as the 8th Master Chief Petty Officer of the Coast Guard before retiring after a 30-year career. In this position he was the Coast Guard's senior most enlisted member representing over 45,000 personnel as the principal advisor to the Commandant of the Coast Guard. Among his numerous military awards is the nation's highest peacetime award, the Distinguished Service Medal. He is one of the few Coast Guardsmen to have earned the Paratrooper's 'Jump Wings' while serving in a joint service assignment with the U. S. Army's 82nd Airborne. He received his doctorate of education from American University, a master's degree in counseling psychology at Loyola University at Chicago, a B.S. in social work from Shaw College and a B.A. in communication from Pacific College. Since retirement he earned a Master of Theology in Applied Religious Studies from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, CA. He is a member of the National Defense Intelligence College Board of Visitors, and serves as vice-president of the nonprofit organization First Command Educational Foundation which focuses on financial literacy education for high school students. He is also an ordained minister, and volunteers as a critical-incident stress debriefing counselor for the Unitarian Universalist Trauma Response Ministry Team.
