The distinctive offering includes a wide array of specialized protection for policyholders on the road, including:
Trip interruption protection, which covers drivers when they have a covered loss over 100 miles away from home and their auto cannot be safely driven. With this coverage, drivers are reimbursed up to $1,000 for food, lodging, travel expenses and the cost to return the covered auto to the policyholder's home or place of garaging.
Rental car coverage, which protects policyholders in the event of a covered loss to a rented automobile. Coverage extends for loss of use; diminished value of the vehicle; and reasonable fees that the insured is legally obligated to pay as a result of damage to the rental car.
Pet injury protection, which pays up to $500 for veterinary fees and $500 for burial fees if the insured's dog or cat is injured or killed while occupying the insured's auto at the time of a covered loss.
