Against a backdrop of wooden peach crates at Wawona Farms in Clovis, Fiorina told about 100 invited visitors that she aims to send the Democratic incumbent, Sen. Barbara Boxer, into retirement a year from now.
Fiorina touted her experience as a business leader and a government outsider as reasons why she can make changes in Washington, D.C.
Fiorina, 55, also described herself as being in line with the values of Valley voters because she is a fiscal conservative, she believes life begins at conception, and she believes marriage is between one man and one woman.
She was scheduled to make a campaign stop in Sacramento later today.
