The sheriff's office is asking for the public's assistance in identifying the suspects, who robbed the store, located at International Parkway, at about 9:10 p.m.
One suspect entered the store posing as a customer and moments later the second suspect entered the store armed with a handgun, and demanded money from the clerk, police said. Both then left the area on foot.
A dark-colored pickup truck was then seen leaving the area.
In Fauquier County earlier that evening, two armed robberies of a similar nature took place matching the suspects' descriptions.
The first suspect who entered the store is described as a white man with a pale complexion, 16-21 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall to 5 feet 8 inches tall, wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt, a black cap, blue jeans, a white shirt and black tennis shoes with some white on the shoes.
The second suspect is described as a white man, 16-21 years of age and 5 feet 11 inches tall to 6 feet tall. He was wearing a black ski mask with holes cut out around the eyes, nose and mouth. The suspect was wearing an "Element" black-hooded sweatshirt, white tennis shoes and a baseball cap with a green skull type demon on the front. The suspect was also holding the gun in his left hand so he may be left-handed.
Anyone with information about these suspects is asked to contact the Stafford County Sheriff's Office at (540) 658-4400.
