This was in comparison with owned sales of USD216.0m for October 2008, representing a 1.8% increase year-over-year.
For the third quarter owned sales totalled USD622.7m as compared with USD682.0m in the third quarter of the prior year, representing an 8.7% decrease.
For the year-to-date period owned sales totalled USD1,794.3m, as compared with USD2,175.3m in the corresponding period of the prior year.
The company said that comparable store sales increased by 0.7% for the month and decreased by 10.1% for the quarter.
