The two parties plan to build their existing joint venture, Nokia Siemens Networks Neusoft Commtech Company, into a software and service base focusing on mobile data and applications.
Neusoft teams up with Nokia Siemens in an attempt to supply various data service systems for leading Chinese telecom carriers, noted Liu Jiren, board chairman of Shanghai-listed Neusoft, adding that they aim to offer customers with high-quality products and services as the inception of 3G services in the country.
There are many opportunities in the country's 3G sector. The number of newly-added 3G users in the country is forecasted to be 300 million in the coming three to five years, pointed out the president for Nokia Siemens China.
