PowerRating -- 11/6/2009 - Fanie Mae (NYSE:FNM) will seek an additional $15 billion in rescue funds from the U.S. Treasury after its $18.8 billion Q3 net loss, according to a Bloomberg report that cites an SEC filing. The latest bailout will bring the total taxpayer funds given to Fannie Mae to about $60 billion, and the company said that it remains "dependent on the continued support of Treasury to continue operating." Shares of Fannie Mae fell 9% in early Friday trading.
