He also gained the best results in the ongoing Mustakbal management development program, which is designed to develop high potential Saudis.
Al-Yami has successfully renegotiated a large number of support contracts to produce improved service standards and cost savings to the company. He has also, in his seven-man team, taken on the responsibility of mentoring to develop the next generation of procurement talent.
"It is always good to have your efforts in the workplace recognized and I was delighted to have been given this global honor," said Al-Yami. "The development I have received at BAE Systems has helped me to continue to develop my skills and my job enables me to put into practice what I learn," he added.
