SAIC announces five task orders from US Department of Homeland Security

Monday it has been awarded five task orders by the US Department of
Homeland Security (DHS) to support the Immigration and Customs
Enforcement (ICE), Office of the Chief Information Officer.
SAIC, a scientific, engineering and technology applications company,
said the task orders were awarded under the DHS EAGLE contract and have
a total value of over USD189m if all options are exercised.
Under the task orders, the company will support ICE modernisation and
help maintain the agency's applications in areas including
intelligence, international affairs, investigations and detention and
removal.
The efforts are expected to help ICE enhance its information sharing,
integration and systems assurance strategies, enabling international,
federal, state and local law enforcement agencies to more effectively
share information and better identify potential threats.
