US Airways to resume service to Melbourne, Florida
LCC | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- US Airways (NYSE:LCC) said on Monday that it is to restart a daily
non-stop service between Melbourne, Florida and its largest hub in
Charlotte, North Carolina.
This marks the airline's return to Melbourne after a 12-year absence.
Three daily flights will be operated on the route by wholly-owned US
Airways Express carrier PSA Airlines.
The new year-round service is scheduled to start on 11 February 2010
and will be flown with 70-seat Bombardier CRJ700 regional jets.
