Cummins Power increases prices for commercial generator sets from January 2010

component products and electric power generation systems Cummins Inc's
(NYSE: CMI | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) division Cummins Power Generation Inc declared on Tuesday a
price increase between 1.5% to 2% of its commercial 6 kW and 2500 kW
generator sets with effect from 1 January.
Used for power in different commercial and industrial applications,
Cummins Power Generation's commercial generator prices were affected by
industry dynamics, rising commodity prices and market conditions at
present.
The company stated that it will keep the average prices of automatic
transfer switches, paralleling systems and consumer generator sets flat
in 2010.
Pricing details were not disclosed.
