SAIC receives contract from AFCEE for engineering and environment

SEAP | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Science Applications International, a provider of scientific, engineering, systems integration and technical services and solutions, has received a contract from the Air Force Center for Engineering and the Environment, or AFCEE, to support environmental restoration, remediation, and construction programs.

The multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has an eight year period of performance and a maximum value of $3 billion for all awardees. Work will be performed at military installations as required, the company said.

Under the contract, Science Applications International (SAIC) will compete for task orders to provide a selection of construction and engineering services including conceptual design, construction, demolition, repair, operation and maintenance to support environmental restoration/remediation efforts.

Jim Moos, vice president and operations manager at SAIC, said: "SAIC has served AFCEE since 1995, providing environmental architecture and engineering services. We look forward to continuing this long term working relationship with the Air Force, while helping improve environmental quality at military installations across the globe."
