RHHZY | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Ionian Technologies, Inc., a biotechnology company, has signed an agreement with Roche Diagnostics Corp., a division of Roche Holding, Ltd. Both Ionian and Roche Diagnostics are based in the US.

Under the terms of the agreement, Roche Diagnostics will identify new applications and customers for Ionian's isothermal nucleic acid amplification technology and will bring these opportunities to Ionian.. Roche Diagnostics will have exclusive manufacturing rights for these specific opportunities upon commercialization.

NEAR Assay(TM), Ionian's isothermal amplification technology, is used for the detection of both DNA and RNA from bacterial or viral pathogens.
