CNOOC shuts down a Bohai Bay oilfield

on Thursday that production at one of its oilfields on China's Bohai
Bay has been halted after being hit by strong winds.
The BZ25-1 field, which has a daily production of 27,000 barrels
of oil, has been closed since Tuesday, CNOOC said.
The firm did not say when the oilfield would resume production.
CNOOC owns an 83.8 percent stake in the oilfield with the
remaining held by Chevron Corp.
