Atmos Energy Corp elects Kenneth M Malter as vice president of gas supply and services

ATO | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Natural gas distributor Atmos Energy Corp (NYSE:ATO) announced on
Thursday the promotion of Kenneth M Malter to vice president of gas
supply and services of the company.

Malter, in his new position, will continue to office in New Orleans and
will report to Kim R Cocklin, president and chief operating officer of
the company.

The company added that Malter succeeds Mark S Bergeron, who was named
president of Atmos Energy Holdings Inc.

Malter was employed as director of gas supply and services of Atmos
Energy in New Orleans since 2007. He served as manager of contract
administration for Atmos Energy's Louisiana Gas Service in 1998 and
joined the gas supply operations of the predecessor of Atmos Energy
Marketing LLC in 2001.
