Director Kenneth M Malter of Atmos Energy promoted as VP of its Gas Supply and Services

ATO | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Natural gas distributor Atmos Energy Corporation (NYSE:ATO) has
promoted Kenneth M Malter to VP of gas supply and services, succeeding
Mark S Bergeron and reporting to president and CEO Kim R Cocklin, the
company revealed on Thursday.

Bergeron previously was named president of Atmos Energy Holdings Inc.

With over two decades of experience in the natural gas industry, Malter
has worked as director of the company's gas supply and services in New
Orleans since 2007, having joined Louisiana Gas Service, a predecessor
to Atmos Energy's Louisiana Division in 1998 as manager of contract
administration.
