US Airways appoints vice president of business technology delivery

LCC | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- US Airways has appointed Madeleine Gray as vice president of business technology delivery.
Ms Gray will focus on airport and customer-facing technology and the systems that support it. She will lead a team of 110 technology professionals within the 500-person US Airways IT organization.
Ms Gray will report to Brad Jensen, senior vice president and chief information officer of US Airways. She fills an open position within the recently restructured IT group. Ms Gray will lead the software development team, which is responsible for customer-facing applications, such as airport and online check-in tools and service recovery systems.
Ms Gray joins US Airways from Sabre Holdings, where she served as senior director of air merchandising and core services.
Mr Jensen said: "We welcome Madeleine at a time when information technology is playing a more important role than ever in delivering a positive experience for our customers. We are excited about the great depth of leadership and experience she is bringing to US Airways in developing innovative and cost-saving solutions."
