PBR | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- 16 November 2009 - Norwegian offshore vessel operator DOF ASA (OSL:
DOF) said today that it has won three long-term charter contracts with
a total firm duration of eight years, worth some NOK365m.

DOF's vessels Skandi Stolmen and Skandi Captain were chartered to
Brazilian federal oil and gas giant Petroleo Brasileiro (SAO: PETR3)
(NYSE:PBR), or Petrobras.

Skandi Stolmen is expected to start operations in late December 2009 or
early January 2010.

The charter of Skandi Captain will start in 2010, when it will be
redelivered from its current employment with Shell UK Ltd, part of
Royal Dutch Shell (AMS:RDSA) (LSE:RDSA).

The third deal is with Dutch engineering consultancy Fugro NV (AMS:
FUR). To serve this contract, DOF agreed with Norwegian shipyard Fitjar
Mekaniske Verksted AS to buy the Skandi Olympia vessel for some
NOK230m. The advanced diesel electric support vessel is due for
delivery in 2009.
