Watson Pharmaceuticals Inc appoints Robert A. Stewart as senior VP of global operations

reported on Monday the appointment of Robert A. Stewart as senior vice
president of global operations with immediate effect.

This is a newly created position in which Stewart will oversee global
manufacturing, supply chain, quality and technical operations of the
company.

Previously Stewart spent eight years at Abbott Laboratories, where he
most recently served as divisional vice president, global supply chain.
A
In conjunction, the company announced that Thomas R. Russillo,
executive vice president and president of the generics division, has
been named executive vice president, global generics.
A
Russillo will head the company's newly formed Global Generics
commercial function.
A
Stewart and Russillo will both report to Paul Bisaro, president and CEO
of the company.
