Air Algerie orders seven Boeing 737s
BA | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Boeing (NYSE:BA) announced on Tuesday that Air Algerie has place an
order for seven Boeing Next-Generation 737-800 aircraft.
The acquisition of the aircraft will expand Air Algerie's fleet to a
total of 22 aircraft.
Air Algerie ordered its new 737s with Blended Winglets, which can
reportedly reduce fuel burn by around 4%.
Financial details of the order were not disclosed.
