CitySprint extends transportation contract with Air Liquide UK

AIQUY | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- CitySprint, a UK-based courier network, has extended its nationwide transportation contract with Air Liquide UK for three years, with the option to extend for a further two years at the end of that period.

Air Liquide is a part of the Air Liquide Group, a supplier of industrial and medical gases. Air Liquide has been using CitySprint's SameDay Courier services on a daily basis since 2004.

Under the contract, CitySprint is responsible for transporting Air Liquide UK's dry ice products to its customers, including hospitals, universities, research organizations and key food and pharmaceutical distributors across the UK.

Dave Sharpe, UK distribution manager at Air Liquide UK, said: "We have been using CitySprint's services for over five years and in that time CitySprint has consistently met, and often exceeded, our expectations with regards to service delivery. Our decision to extend our contract with CitySprint is recognition of the unrivalled service they provide, and the value they add for our customers."
