US SVB Financial Group picks JP Morgan Securities, BofA Merrill Lynch to handle stock issue
SIVB | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- 17 November 2009 - US SVB Financial Group (NASDAQ:SIVB) said Monday it
has mandated JP Morgan Securities and BofA Merrill Lynch to manage its
stock offering.
The share issue will be co-managed by Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, RBC
Capital Markets Corp and Sandler O'Neill & Partners LP.
The financial services provider plans to issue stock worth a total
USD300m (EUR201.3m) and to grant underwriters the option to buy up to
15% of additional shares to cover possible over-allotments.
Meanwhile, SVB Financial Group will notify the US Treasury of its plans
to buy back all of its outstanding 235,000 shares of the B series fixed
rate cumulative perpetual preferred stock, as well as of a warrant to
buy 708,116 common shares issued to the Treasury under its capital
purchase programme.
