Autodesk signs memo with Guangdong province of China

GUANGZHOU, Nov 18, 2009 (Xinhua via COMTEX) --

software, inked a strategic cooperation memorandum with the Guangdong
Provincial Economic and Information Commission on Wednesday.

According to the memorandum, Autodesk will provide the southern
China province of Guangdong with its latest 2D and 3D software and
services, especially for energy savings and Green IT applications
over the next few years.

Meanwhile, Autodesk will help to promote the upgrading of
traditional industries and offer training courses to small and medium
sized enterprises scattered throughout various industries in the
province.

Autodesk is a US-based 2D and 3D software creator for the
manufacturing, construction, engineering, media, and entertainment
industries.
