Visa introduces exclusive Dining Series for Visa Infinite cardholders

Visa Canada today introduced its Visa Infinite Dining Series, a series of dinners where prestigious Canadian chefs open their restaurants exclusively to Visa Infinite cardholders. Participants will experience memorable and educational evenings that include private kitchen tours, notable guest speakers from the food and wine industry, and cooking demonstrations with the host chefs. The Visa Infinite Dining Series, which includes events in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto and Montreal, runs from November 2009 through to May 2010.
"Offered exclusively to Visa Infinite cardholders, the Dining Series takes participants beyond the dining room and into the kitchens and wine cellars of some of Canada's top restaurants," said Jennifer Arthurton, Head of Consumer Credit Products, Visa Canada. "Visa Infinite cardholders can speak first-hand with some of the most celebrated personalities in the wine and food industry, while enjoying gourmet meals and wine pairings in intimate and exclusive settings."

- Calgary, AB, November 12, 2009: Centini Restaurant & Lounge with
Chef Fabio Centini - An Italian cooking demonstration and five course
dinner by Chef Centini paired with exclusive champagne wines from
Veuve Clicquot.
- Vancouver, BC, November 18, 2009: West with Chef Warren Geraghty - A
guided four course dining experience with Chef Warren Geraghty which
includes dishes from his newly published award-winning cookbook.
- Toronto, ON, November 24, 2009: Colborne Lane with
Chef Claudio Aprile - A seven-course dinner and kitchen tour that
includes a sampling from Chef Claudio Aprile's highly anticipated new
restaurant, Origin.
- Calgary, AB, March 4, 2010: River Café with
Executive Chef Scott Pohorelic - Hosted by the Chef and River Café's
key producers and farmers, the dinner includes a chacuterie tasting
and wine pairings from the Charton Hobbs portfolio.
- Vancouver, BC, March 15, 2010: Lumière with
Executive Chef Dale MacKay - A four-course dinner featuring signature
recipes from Chef Daniel Boulud's new book, Chef Daniel Boulud:
Cooking In New York City.
- Montreal, QC, March 25, 2010: Toqué with Chef Normand Laprise - A
five-course meal with wine pairings, followed by an informative
kitchen and cellar tour.
- Montreal, QC, April 26, 2010: Le Club Chasse et Pêche with
Chef Claude Pelletier - A seven-course menu based on house classics
matched with fine wines. Maitre d' Hubert Marsolais will also share
the restaurant's food philosophy.
- Toronto, ON, April 28, 2010: Sopra with Chef Massimo Capra - A five-
course Italian-style meal, cooking demonstration and specialty
cocktail competition hosted by Sopra's mixologist.
- Toronto, ON, May 18, 2010: ONE with Chef Mark McEwan - A four-course
menu paired with fine wines of the Charton Hobbs portfolio and a
kitchen tour where the Chef will talk about trials and tribulations
encountered on the set of his show, The Heat.
