Hungary's Magyar Telekom agrees sale of Bulgarian Orbitel

(NYSE:MTA) said on Tuesday that it has agreed the sale of its
subsidiary Orbitel EAD, an alternative telecoms service provider in
Bulgaria, for EUR5m.
The business will be purchased by Bulgaria's Spectrum Net AD.
Magyar Telekom said that it had decided to focus on more profitable
operations.
The deal is expected to be completed by the end of March 2010, subject
to competition authority approval in Bulgaria.
