Horizon Discovery announces collaboration with Novartis for X-MAN cell-lines

NVS | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Horizon Discovery, Ltd., a UK-based translational genomics company, has entered into a four year collaboration with Novartis AG, a Switzerland-based pharmaceutical company.

This is the second business agreement between Horizon and Novartis and and sees the use of Horizon's proprietary GENESIS(TM) gene-engineering platform to develop a broad panel of custom generated genetically-defined human 'X-MAN' cancer models for deployment in Novartis's drug discovery research programs.

Under this collaboration, Novartis will pay an upfront, milestone and renewal fees to Horizon.
