Shenzhen Lures 5 Projects with CNY2.56bn Investments
AIQUY | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- A government division and five companies, such as Japan-based SANYO Semiconductor Company and the US-based Innovative Circuits Engineering, Inc. (ICE), signed investment services agreements in Shenzhen on November 17, 2009.
Totally, they signed agreements on five projects, including ICE's chip testing project in the Nanshan Science & Technology Park, SANYO Semiconductor's integrated circuit production and R&D base in Nanshan, Air Liquide's integrated circuit supporting gas production base, City University of Hong Kong's biological and animal medical center, and a Chinese company's South China headquarters and vehicle exhibition base. Investments in the five projects will total CNY 2.56 billion or so.
Established in January 1, 2009, ICE is mainly engaged in integrated circuit technology innovation and development. Its IC chip testing project, with a planned investment of CNY 150 million to CNY 250 million, is scheduled to be operational around 2010. It will help the city improve IC chip testing technology and shorten testing time.
