November 19, 2009 (FinancialWire) -- TRW Automotive Holdings Corp. (NYSE: TRW | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) said its TRW Automotive Inc. subsidiary plans to privately offer $250 million of senior unsecured notes due 2017.

The company plans to use around $124 million of the net proceeds from the offering to prepay borrowings under its existing term loan facilities and to use the remaining net proceeds for general corporate purposes.

Michigan-based TRW Automotive operates in 26 countries and employs around 64,000 people worldwide. TRW Automotive products include integrated vehicle control and driver assist systems, braking systems, steering systems, suspension systems, occupant safety systems, electronics, engine components, fastening systems and aftermarket replacement parts and services.
