Shenzhen Lures CNY2.56 billion High-Tech Investments
AIQUY | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- A regulatory department of Shenzhen signed agreements with five companies and institutes on November 17, 2009 about CNY 2.56 billion capital or so to be invested in five new high-tech projects.
Sanyo Semiconductor Company, Air Liquide, and China Carrie Enterprises Ltd. are set to establish their IC production, development and technological support base, IC-oriented gas production base, as well as automobile model exhibition and component development base in Shenzhen, respectively.
Innovative Circuits Engineering Inc. agreed to carry out a chip testing project in the city, where such businesses have not made sail by far. Besides, City University of Hong Kong plans to construct a biomedical and veterinary medicine center covering a land area of about 50,000 square meters, as an effort to boost the Shenzhen-Hong Kong cooperation.
Shenzhen Vice Mayor Tang Jie said that the city had been attractive to strong companies and institutes, depending on its excellent investment and high-tech environment as well as high investment yields.
