ILMN | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- EraGen Biosciences, Inc., a biotechnology company that develops, manufactures and markets molecular reagent products and software, has signed a licensing agreement with Illumina, Inc., a developer of array-based solutions for DNA, RNA and protein analysis. Both the companies are based in the US.

Under the terms of the agreement, EraGen Biosciences will have access to Illumina's BeadXpress platform. EraGen will use this platform for the continued development and commercialization of molecular-based clinical multiplexed assays with its patented MultiCode(R)-PLx technology.
