Regency Energy Partners LP announces USD40m gas gathering expansion in Haynesville Shale

Thursday that the company intends to construct Phase II of the USD40m
expansion of its Logansport Gathering system in the Haynesville Shale
in north Louisiana, with completion targeted for the second quarter of
2010.

This expansion will transport gas gathered from a producer's dedicated
acreage located in DeSoto Parish to the company's Logansport Gathering
system.

Under the expansion, the company will install 4.5 miles of 10-inch
gathering lines, route 7.5 miles of 12-inch pipe through more than 17
sections of dedicated acreage in DeSoto Parish and add approximately
3.2 miles of 24-inch pipe to connect into the company's 24-inch
Logansport Phase I Expansion. The company will also install a gas
treating facility with capacity of up to 300 MMcf/d.

In addition, Regency Energy is increasing the diameter of the 20-inch
Logansport Expansion pipeline to 24 inches and will also increase the
Logansport System's incremental interconnect delivery capacities to
Tennessee Gas Pipeline and to Louisiana Intrastate Gas by approximately
100 MMcf/d and 30 MMcf/d, respectively.
