Air China announces launch of variety of promotions for holiday period
AICAF | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Air China announced on Thursday the launch of various promotions for
the holiday period, including discounted fares, fuel rebates and bonus
air miles.
Effective immediately and until the end of the year, Air China's
domestic air fares will be reduced, with the average price for tickets
from Beijing to Dadong, Taiyuan and other cities at around CNY200.
Fares for flights from Beijing to Dalian will start at CNY210.
Until 30 December, passengers aged 50 years or older, who are
travelling with another passenger, will be offered discounts of CNY100
for one-way flights over 800km and CNY50 for one-way flights shorter
than 800km. This offer is only available through Air China's
Ticket-Order Hotline.
Customers who book round-trip international tickets on Air China's
Ticket-Order Hotline will be offered a 5% discount between 15 November
and 31 December 2009. If passengers pay using China CITIC Bank credit
cards they will receive an addition CNY200 discount on flights to
Europe and America and CNY100 on flights to Asia-Pacific destinations.
Members of Air China's PhoenixMiles frequent flyer programme will
accumulate 1km for each CNY10 spent on the airline when purchasing
international or domestic flights up to 31 December 2009. On
international flights, PhoenixMiles members will receive an additional
1km for every CNY10 spent on international fares. Domestic PhoenixMiles
travellers who purchase designated cabin seats will receive 408km for
each flight segment.
The airline is also offering a CNY30 Sinopec rebate to Sinopec Special
Card holders who purchase domestic flights through the Ticket-Order
hotline.
