Gabelli Global Deal Fund announces Q4 distribution of USD0.44 per share

GDL | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- The board of trustees of closed-end management investment company The
Gabelli Global Deal Fund (NYSE:GDL) declared on Thursday a cash
distribution of USD0.44 per share, representing approximately 8% of the
average net asset value of the Fund in 2009.

This distribution will be made on 17 December 2009 to all common
shareholders of record on 14 December 2009.
