TAM announces changes to board of directors
TAM | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Brazilian airline TAM (NYSE:TAM) (BOVESPA:TAMM4) reported on Thursday
that Flavia Turci's resignation from the company's board of directors
has been accepted at an Extraordinary General Shareholders' Meeting.
The appointment of Emilio Romano as a member of TAM's board was also
approved at the meeting. Romano is currently president and CEO of
Mexican real estate development company Grupo Puerta Alameda and was
previously CEO of CEO of Grupo Mexicana de Aviacion from 2004 to 2007.
Maria Claudia Oliveira Amaro will continue as president of TAM's board
of directors and Mauricio Rolim Amaro will continue as vice president.
Both have held these positions since April 2007.
