LL&E Royalty announces transition of trading and new ticker symbol LRTR
LRT | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Owner of net overriding royalty interests in oil and gas properties
LL&E Royalty Trust (NYSE: LRT | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) revealed on Thursday its trading
transition in Units of Beneficial Interest in the Trust to the
Over-The-Counter market on Pink Sheets from the New York Stock Exchange
and the new ticker symbol "LRTR" will be effective on Friday.
A centralised quotation system, the Pink Sheets collects and publishes
quotes for over the counter securities.
With net revenues below the required minimum by the Trust's governing
documents for its continuation in 2006 and 2007 and according to its
governing documents, the Trust terminated with effect from 31 December
2007 and was required to sell its assets. In October 2008 the Trustee
decided to postpone the sale due to market conditions and in the best
interests of the Unitholders of it assets.
However, the south Louisiana properties interests were sold by the
Trust as announced in November 2009. The Trustee reviews market
conditions frequently and intends to recommence the sale process for
the rest of the assets as soon as practicable.
