BNP Paribas, Calyon, RBS, SocGen help Safran place EUR750m bond

(EPA:SAF) yesterday placed a EUR750m (USD1.1bn) bond with the
assistance of French banks BNP Paribas (EPA:BNP) and Calyon Credit
Agricole CIB.
Royal Bank of Scotland and Societe Generale Corporate & Investment
Banking were also among the lead managers of the issue.
The five-year 4% bond enjoyed strong demand, with orders reaching
EUR2.3bn an hour from its launch, confirming investors' confidence in
the group.
