American Water Works Company, Inc., a US-based water and wastewater utility company, has priced its public offering of 37.4 million shares of common stock at a price of $21.63 per share to raise gross proceeds of $808.96 million.

American Water Works has announced a public offering of 37.4 million shares of common stock.
All the shares will be sold by the selling stockholder RWE Aqua Holdings GmbH.
RWE Aqua Holdings has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 3.7 million additional shares.
Bank of America Corporation, Credit Suisse Securities (USA), LLC and Morgan Stanley & Co., Incorporated are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering.
