INDIA'S HELIX TECH PLANS US$64.6 MLN INVESTMENT FOR R&D

Technology Solutions Monday said it plans to invest Rs 3
billion (US$ 64.6 million) in phases for research and
development.
The company, which creates computer-based learning products
for Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) students, plans
to to invest Rs 3 billion in phases for R&D, Helix said in a
statement.
In addition to that, a sum of Rs 1 billion has already been
invested towards the initial development of their products and
its required technology platform, it added.
The company did not divulge how the programme would be
funded and the period of investment.
A team of 400 technology professionals and 60 expert
academicians are currently working towards conceptualizing and
enhancing the new suite of products, scheduled to be completed
within a period of two years, it added.
