Oslo-listed Jinhui Q3 pretax profit seen at USD34.4m

Transportation Ltd (OSL: JIN) is expected to post a pretax profit of
USD34.4m in the third quarter of 2009, compared with USD114m a year
earlier, according to a poll among 10 analysts by SME Direkt.
The projection includes capital gains from the sale of vessels of
USD7.6m.
Revenue is forecast to decrease to USD86.9m in July-September 2009 from
USD120m in the corresponding period of 2008. The operating profit is on
average projected to drop to USD37.6m from USD117m.
Three of the polled analysts gave a "buy"/"accumulate" recommendation,
while two said "hold" and three recommended "sell"/"reduce". Two
analysts did not provide a rating.
The participants in the poll were ABG Sundal Collier, Arctic
Securities, Carnegie, DnB NOR Markets, Fearnley Fonds, First
Securities, Nordea Markets, Orion Securities, RS Platou Markets and SEB
Enskilda.
Jinhui is due to issue its report for the third quarter of 2009 on 30
November.
