Sport: PFF impose two-match ban on KESCs Wali
TKESF | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC)s midfielder Wali Khan will serve a two-match ban for his sending-off when KESC lost 0-2 to PMC Athletico Club Faisalabad in the 152nd encounter of Pakistan Premier Soccer League 2009 at DHA Stadium, Khayaban-e-Rahat, Phase 6, D.H.A, Karachi on 21 November 2009.
Chaman-born Wali, 23, played for PIA in previous edition and was one of the five new-signings when KESC sounded warning bell to all their 13 rivals when they opened the mission in PPFL 2009 (other being Pakistan skipper Muhammad Essa, 2008 edition Leading marksman Muhammad Rasool (KRL), Abdul Rehman, Aurangzeb (KPT). KESC is currently in eighth position in 14-team table with 31 points. Wali was given marching orders following second yellow card shown by National Referee Sattar Badini (Kharan). He earned two-match suspension following using abusive language against Sattar and taking the Law into his hand.
KRL, who finished 6th, 8th and 12th respectively in three editions from 2006-08, will pencil Walis name in not-eligible portion when they hand over the Team list to Match Commissioner during coming two matches at DHA Stadium - against PEL on 25 November and Army on 4 December 2009.
