MITSUBISHI ESTATE TO EXIT SAPPORO, FUKUOKA BOURSES
MITEY | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Mitsubishi Estate Co. (TSE:8802)
said Thursday that it will delist its shares from the Sapporo
Securities Exchange and the Fukuoka Stock Exchange.
With trading of its shares heavily concentrated on the Tokyo
Stock Exchange, the real estate giant has seen days when they
have failed to trade at all on the Sapporo and Fukuoka bourses.
Mitsubishi Estate thus favors leaving these two exchanges
rather than paying the cost of maintaining the listings.
The delisting requests will be filed Friday, with the
delistings themselves expected to be completed before the end
of this year.
Mitsubishi Estate, which listed on the Sapporo bourse in
August 1954 and the Fukuoka bourse in January 1955, will stay
on the Nagoya Stock Exchange and the Osaka Securities
Exchange.
