Santander's Alliance & Leicester offers limited period GBP100 cash bonus offer

announced today that its UK retail business, Alliance & Leicester, is
re-introducing its GBP100 cash bonus for those switching to its Premier
Current Account.

This reportedly follows continued interest in signing up to the deal
from customers who missed the deadline for the previous offer.

This latest offer will be available for two weeks from 30 November 2009
until midnight on 13 December 2009, and is only available online.

The Alliance & Leicester Premier Current Account includes an interest
free overdraft with no usage fees for 12 months and GBP0.50 per day up
to GBP5.00 a month thereafter. It also includes 0.5% AER/gross
in-credit interest on balances up to GBP2,500 and free annual European
travel insurance.

The minimum funding requirement on the Alliance & Leicester's Premier
Current Account is GBP500 per month.

Also, the GBP100 switching incentive is available to new applicants who
do not currently hold any current account with Alliance Leicester,
Abbey, Cahoot or Cater Allen, and have not held any current account
with them in the three months preceding their application.
