Guangdong Unicom Said to Cooperate with 91.com

Details to the cooperation, which is said to aim at iPhone application, has not been unveiled yet. Persons from China Unicom Guangdong branch and 91.com do not conform the saying.

Ten days ago, China Unicom Guangxi branch announced cooperation with 91.com on a management software product for smartphones like iPhone.

Months ago, China Unicom inked agreements with Apple Inc. (Nasdaq: AAPL) on the introduction of the sparkling iPhones into the Mainland China.

Apple will accumulatively sell 2.9 million iPhones in China by the end of 2011, forecasted Toni Sacconaghi, analyst at research firm Sanford Bernstein.

Following the heel of China Mobile and China Telecom, China Unicom also plans to launch application store in an attempt to offer users with high-quality experience and cater to the demand of consumers.
