Scouting report: With Friday's 94-84 home loss to Washington, the Heat has lost four of its last six . . . Coming off Friday's 116-103 home rout of the Raptors, the Celtics have won three in a row, after losing three of their previous four. Boston shot a season-best .623 in the victory over Toronto . . . This is the first game of the three-game season series. The Heat has lost eight of the last nine meetings, going 1-3 against Boston last season . . . Heat guard Dwyane Wade is coming off only his second game of the season below 20 points, with 18 against the Wizards . . . Wade averaged 29.5 points last season against the Celtics, with guard Ray Allen leading Boston with a 25-point average in the 2008-09 series . . . Celtics forward Kevin Garnett is averaging 12 rebounds per game against the Heat over his career . . . With Friday's 9-of-15 shooting against Washington, Heat center Jermaine O'Neal is now at .567 from the field this season . . . Heat forward Michael Beasley is averaging 17.6 points and 9.8 rebounds over the past five games . . . Celtics forward Rasheed Wallace is coming off a 3-of-6 night from the 3-point line against the Raptors, after shooting 9 of 54 on 3-pointers over his previous 10 games . . . Forward Quentin Richardson (back) is probable for the Heat . . . Forward Glen Davis (thumb) is out for the Celtics, with teammate Tony Allen (ankle) probable. Celtics forward Bill Walker, a teammate of Beasley's at Kansas State, is on loan to Maine of the NBA Development League.
