Momentum Telecom selects Level 3 Communications's digital voice services

LVLT | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Momentum Telecom, a provider of residential and business digital voice solutions, has selected Level 3 Communications to provide VoIP enhanced local services.

Under the contract, Momentum will consolidate the majority of its local service traffic on Level 3's network, thereby allowing Momentum to streamline its business.

With Level 3 VoIP ELS, customers like Momentum can deliver IP-based local and long-distance communications services to residential and business customers using broadband connections. This solution enables a high-quality VoIP primary-line replacement service, Level 3 Communications said.

Alan Creighton, president and CEO of Momentum Telecom, said: "The decision to expand local services with Level 3 was easy given their proven network reliability and large footprint. And, by consolidating our services, we get a simpler, more efficient solution for our business."
