Haldex AB wins prototype all-wheel drive system order from Hyundai

Nov 23, 2007 (NORDIC BUSINESS REPORT via COMTEX) -- KIMTY | charts | news | PowerRating -- Swedish vehicle technology solutions provider Haldex AB said on Friday (23 November) that it has received a prototype order from the Korean car maker Hyundai-KIA Motors.

The order covers a prototype installation of an all-wheel drive system based on the fourth generation of the Haldex Limited Slip Coupling and the new Haldex electronic Limited Slip Differential (Haldex XWD).

No financial details were disclosed.

Haldex, headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, provides proprietary and innovative solutions to the global vehicle industry. The company has 6,000 employees worldwide and annual sales of nearly SEK8bn. Haldex is listed on the OMX Nordic Exchange in Stockholm.

One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 12.95 Swedish kronor (SEK).
