CMGI 1Q net earnings fall 17%; backs FY08 outlook

NEW YORK, Dec 04, 2007 (Thomson Financial via COMTEX) -- CMGID | charts | news | PowerRating -- CMGI Inc. late Monday reported fiscal first-quarter net earnings of $8.61 million, or 18 cents a share, down 17% from $10.3 million, or 21 cents a share, during the year earlier.

The company posted income from continuing operations of $9.24 million, or 19 cents a share, versus $9.74 million, or 20 cents a share, last year.

Revenue at the Waltham, Mass.-based management-services company fell 3.1% to $274.7 million from $283.6 million.

Additionally, CMGI said it continues to see fiscal 2008 revenue of $1.1 billion to $1.15 billion, before restructuring charges, which are expected to come in between $5 million and $8 million.
