London, May 16, 2008 (Asia Pulse Data Source via COMTEX) -- LAJOF | news | PowerRating | PR Charts -- John Laing, a Bristish construction and maintenance firm, has announced its plans to open an office in Gurgaon and will focus on NHAI projects.

According to a statement, company official Peter Jones would be setting up John Laing's first Indian office in Gurgaon. He would be capitalising on the efforts John Laing has made in India and enhance the company's presence in the country, it added.

The company, which had incorporated an Indian subsidiary on February 6, would initially concentrate on National Highways Authority of India's BOT Road projects.

However, Jones would also work towards establishing close business relationships with local partners and would looking forward to other sectors and opportunities.
